He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Prout and Lucille Prout (Bissell); his former wife Linda; his wife Deborah Nunneley; his son Bradley Prout; and his brother-in-law Larry Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Prout (Jeni) of Rosebush, Jerry Ruemmler of Mt. Pleasant, Randy Prout of Mt. Pleasant and Heather Prout of Farwell; his grandchildren, Brandy, Christopher, Justine, Manuel, Ashley, Paige, Hannah, Cailyn, Aria, Mandel, Ruby, Ivy, Morgan, Emily and Brandon; and his sisters, Norma Prout of Mt. Pleasant and Barb Miller of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
