It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Ralph Wise (Mount Pleasant, Michigan), who passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Wise and Mae Wise; his significant other Virginia Wise (Cojocar); his brothers, John and Junior Wise; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Cojocar, Tommy Cojocar and Tony Seaman.

He is survived by: his daughter Cindy Beard (Steven Howard); his grandson Jimmy Wise (Cindy Watson); his sisters, Lilah Degroft of Alma and Ilah Fisher (Lawrence) of Ithaca; his siblings-in-law, Janet Maurer (Matt) of Alma, Carol Seaman of Sumner, Jimmy Cojocar (Linda) of Alma, Marie Cojocar of Grayling, Denise Pettipas (Ervin) of St. Louis and Pamala Parsons of Alma; his grandchildren, Kristina Beebe of St Louis, Chelsea Silorey (Caleb) of Mt Pleasant, Ginger Bermudez, Derek Wise of Alma, Brandon Wise (Jessica) and Landyn Beard of Alma; and his great grandchildren, Hayden, Peyton, Gracelyn, Brayden, Bryson, Brooklyn, Scarlett, Grayson, Ella, Jackson, Lillian and Henry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Gratiot County Humane Society in Jim's name.
