She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Verrette and Henriette Verrette; and her husband Donald Thornton. She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Thornton (Robin) of Farwell and Scott Thornton (Kristi) of Clare; her sister Suzanne Loar of Farwell; and her nieces, Kelli and Gina.
