She is survived by: her husband Keith Schafer; her children, Shannon Funnell (Mike Rieger) of New Castle, CO, Derrick Schafer (Jessica Falkner) of Valrico, FL, Nathaniel Funnell (Michele Tolliver) of Brant, Elizabeth "Betsy" Schafer of Mt. Pleasant, Mackenzie Martinez (David) of Lansing and Halie Schafer (Josh Brooks) of Farwell; her grandchildren, Ambri Sheahan (Dolton Carson), Collin Rodriguez (Nikki), Cooper Rodriguez (Alexis Bullard), Caleb Sheahan, Xander Brooks, Logan Funnell, McCartney Schafer, Blake Funnell, Knox Schafer, Rori Martinez, Holden Martinez, Miles Funnell, Broden Brooks and Louisa Schafer; her great grandchildren, Elle Rodriguez, Ollie Rodriguez, Cyrus Rodriguez and Meadow Carson; her siblings, Bernie Stilgenbauer (Randy) of Midland, Carman Phillips of Mt. Pleasant and Chad Phillips (Kimmy); and her in-laws, Richard Schafer of Beal City, Don Schafer (Sue) of Beal City, Rosy Curtiss of Beal City, Wayne Schafer (Connie) of Beal City and Paulette Wood (Neal) of Rodney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McLaren Hospice Care of Central Michigan, or plant a tree in her honor.
