He was predeceased by: his parents, William Block and Isabelle Block (Swindlehurst); his brothers-in-law, Jim Morford and Stewart Cook; and his parents-in-law, Robert S. and Christine Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cook-Block; his sons, Stewart Block (Ashley) of Mt. Pleasant and Neal Block (Samantha) of Midland; his grandson Reid Block; his siblings, Alan Block (Janice) of Mt. Pleasant, Rudy Block (Rosalyn) of Mt. Pleasant, Delores Morford of Weidman, Charlene Block-MacDonald (Randy) of Weidman and Carolyn Block-Rollin (Howard) of Mt. Pleasant; and his sister-in-law Marjie Brownson of Lake Isabella. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church or Care Team Hospice.
