He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Atkinson and Dorothy Atkinson (Lennox); and his brother Wayne Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Marcia Atkinson of Mt. Pleasant; his children, Jerry Atkinson (Theresa) of Caro, Tony Stemler of Duncan and British Columbia; his grandchildren, Emma Atkinson (Austin Shattuck), Bailey Atkinson, Ella Stemler and Abigail Stemler; and his brothers, Darl Atkinson (Theresa) and Elton Atkinson (Jane).
