He is survived by: his children, Robert Irons (Jaynese) of St. Clair Shores, John Irons (Diane) of Sterling Heights, Kellie Woods (Kreg) of Vassar and Sara Goss (Anthony) of Mt. Pleasant; his siblings, Virginia Tatone (John), Basil Irons (Linda) and Leta Brennan; his grandchildren, Benjamin Viers, Alexis Hooper (Steve), John Irons Jr., Frank Irons, Emily Cook (Jon), Jacob Irons (Laura), Sally Irons (Christian), Andrew Irons (Alexis), Charles Goss (Jessica), Ella Irons, Taylor Bentley (Jeremy), Carter Goss (Corinne), Caleb Goss (Payton) and Emma Irons; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Viers, Lydia Sanders, Kylo Sanders, Abigail Kochan, Arabella Viers, Scarlett Hooper, Everly Cook, Barrett Cook, Ezra Hooper, Sophia Goss, Paisley Goss, Wynonna Irons, Cade Goss, Abel Irons and Hudson Goss. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Marsh Funeral Chapel (2675 Main St, Marlette, MI 48453). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
