With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Charles Casey of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Matthew Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Matthew Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Casey Sr. and Mary Sue Casey (Brown); and his brother Herbert Casey. He is survived by: his children, Meghan Casey of Midland, MI and Logan Casey of St. Ignace, MI; his grandchild DJ Johnson; his siblings, Patricia Schaffner (Perry) of Prescott, MI, Kenneth Casey Jr. (Patti) of Mount Pleasant, MI and Christopher Casey (Linda) of Prescott, MI; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Casey of Saginaw, MI; and his pet Stanley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
