He is survived by: his children, Nick and Quincy Mills; his significant other Lori Cassell; his mother-in-law Carol Husted of Shepherd; his stepchildren, Chelsea Broome (Dylan) of Detroit and Lasaun Cassell of Mt. Pleasant; his siblings, Jeanie Beatty (Martin) of Lake Isabella, Ruth Ann Zalewski (Michael) of Grand Rapids, Martin Mills of Mt. Pleasant and Marie Elliott (Jim) of Mt. Pleasant; his sister-in-law Teri Young of Mt. Pleasant; and his pet Doobie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
