She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Moss and Anna Glenore Moss (Ball); her husband William Peter Hovey; her son Thomas Hovey; her grandsons, Zachary M. Hovey and Colon Hovey; her siblings, George, John Moss and Kenna Jean Buzzel (Moss); and her grandson-in-law Troy Croker.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Hovey (Marsha) of Sanford, Lou Ann Hovey of Gladwin, Karen Hovey of Gladwin, Patrick Hovey (Amy) of Coleman and Melissa Hovey of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Lona Elsea (Rory), Heather Smith (Paul Moon), Marc Smith, Megan Molaski, William Molaski, Sarah Fournier, Jonathan Perkins (Candice), Sam Perkins (Rebecca) and Steven Hovey (Catherine); her great grandchildren, Dr. Alyssa Guinn (Kellen), Matthew Elsea (Sarah), Chris Elsea (Sarah), Andrew Elsea (Becca), Jordan Smith (Elaine), Jacob Smith, Jeffrey Smith and Cheyenne Quackenbush (Johnny); her great great grandchildren, Stephanie, Jamie, Michael, Lewis, Alice and Annabelle Perkins; her great grandchildren, Jack, Nash Hovey, Hazel, River, Hudson, Bailey Elsea, Evleigh, Eleigha and Colter Smith; and her sister Mary Agnes Harless (Moss). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
