Rita Joyce Romer Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Rita Joyce Romer of Mount Pleasant, Michigan is shared. Rita, born on May 21, 1957, passed away on September 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ardene Romer and Doris Romer (Collins); her grandson Christopher Romer; and her brother Joey Romer. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Romer (Holly) of Mt. Pleasant, Allison Green (Richard) of Mt. Pleasant and Zach Colter (Deshanta) of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Rosemarie "Minnow" Green and Asher Green; and her siblings, Frank Romer of Clio and Yvonne Romer of Mt. Pleasant. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Clark Family Funeral Chapel (114 S Bradley St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
Memorial contributions may be made to Wiimaajiikwad, "Where We Grow", the Indian Education fund through Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe.
