We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2024, at the age of 95, Rose Ann (Scully) Forton of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, born in Union, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Scully and Anna Scully (O'Hara); her sister Lucille Tilmann of Beal City; her husband Clifford Forton; her daughter Karen Gumbert; and her in-laws, Edward, Edna Scully, Robert Scully, Esther Scully-Cotter, Mary, Fred Cole, Margaret, William Millard, William Scully and Earl Tilmann.
She is survived by : her children, Mary Jo Kennedy of Largo, FL, Kathryn Lemanek (Mike) of Weidman, Antoinette Raymond of Mt. Pleasant, Robert Forton (Robbie Faye) of Decator, AL, Richard Forton (Carole) of Alto and Thomas Forton (Mary) of Dearborn; her son-in-law Randy Gumbert (Gail) of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren, Jim Kennedy, Lee Ann Kennedy (L. C.), Chet Raymond, Ann Marie Rybak (Keith), Jill Shalett (Robert), Keisha Wicker (Scott), Jennifer Gumbert (Oliver), Melissa Gumbert, Renee Gumbert (Alan), Nate Forton (Amanda), Lindsey Shah (Shiv), Stephanie Forton and Stacey Mulry (Devon); her great grandchildren, Ashley Kennedy, Marlia Warmack (Jesse), Jared Kennedy, Lydia Kennedy, Tyler Rybak, Luke Rybak, Austin Rybak, Chase Rybak, Olivia Rybak, Stella Shalett, Anita Shalett, Clifton Jude Wicker, Eli Wicker, Nora Yared, Abigail Forton, Finely Forton, Naomi Shah and Bodhi Shah; and her sister-in-law Ilene Scully of Rosebush. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
