She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Howard and Pauline Howard (Neff); her husband Richard "Dick" Bruce Wood; her son Bruce W. Wood; her sister Elaine Parks (Vernon); and her siblings-in-law, Diane Howard, Ralph Leonard, Jean Shepherd (Dale) and William Wood (Ethel).
She is survived by: her daughter Valerie A. Wood Boman of Mt. Pleasant; her grandchildren, Bruce R. "Rich" Boman (Leslie) of Grand Rapids and Elizabeth "Beth" J. Wood Boman of Mt. Pleasant; her great grandchild Reid Charles Boman; her brother Robert Howard of Mt. Pleasant; and her sister-in-law Carol Leonard of Helena, MT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; other extended family and lifelong special friends.
