It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Curwood Veit of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Veit and Grace L. Veit (Hilts); his wife Kay; and his siblings, Virginia Hovey, Jack Veit, Beverly Morey, Gwen Moyes, Ross Veit and Karen Knickerbocker.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christine Veit-James (Bradley) of Grand Blanc, Kathy King (Dale Brown), Connie McCann (Christopher) of Mt. Pleasant and Kelly Veit of Chicago; his grandchildren, Dan Campbell (Tina), Jeremy King, Spencer King (Martha), Katie Harralson (Ray), Andrew McCann, Connie Lynn Moskiewicz, Monica Moskiewicz and Lucas Moskiewicz; his great grandchildren, Caitlin, Claire and Connor; his grandchildren, Faelyn, Charlotte, Owen, Kaden, Kendall, Ryker and Penelope; and his siblings, Madge Richmond, Patty Moulds and Garry Veit. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
