He was predeceased by: his mother Jacquelyn Smith (Ehle); his uncle Russ Ehle; and his aunt Thelma Dyer. He is survived by: his father Ray Smith; his sons, Jared Peters (Michelle), Nicholas Smith and Sean Smith; his sister Michelle Quakenbush (Bill); his half-siblings, Sandy Pearson and Scott Raymond; his nieces, Jessica Vautrin and Melissa Quakenbush; and his nephew Eric Quakenbush. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
