With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Theresa Lynn Jackson of Mount Pleasant, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her father Julius Peters; her grandparents, Beatrice Peters (Davis), Bemis Pelcher, Wilfred Peters, Sr. and Julia Peters (Otto); her aunts, Bettylou and Beverly; and her parents-in-law, Delmer Jackson, Sr. and Karen Jackson.
She is survived by: her husband Darryl Jackson; her children, Joelle Peters (Kevin Shaw), Stephen, Robert and Maggie Jackson; her grandchildren, Josclynn, Kenisynn, Anistynn, Kamerynn Shaw, Leilani, Jace and Amik Yahbay-Wooten; her mother Helen Jean Peters (Pelcher); her siblings, Lance Peters (Kristen), Renee Yahbay (Bret) and Juliane Hinmon (Mitch); her siblings' children, Zack, Julia Katatya (Austin), Aleeya, Teralyn, Erica and Novaly; her great-nephews, Remi, Kash, Bronx and Max; her mother-in-law Julia Jackson; and her siblings-in-law, Angel, Salina, Tonya Jackson (Steven), Delmer Jackson, Jr. (Mary) and Daniel Jackson (Alex). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tribal Gym (7070 E Broadway Rd, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858).
