He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hubert and Phyllis Kennedy (Servoss); his wife Betty Kennedy; and his sons, Brian Kennedy, Dave Phillips and Rocky Phillips.
He is survived by: his sons, Doug Phillips (Mary) of Mt. Pleasant and Ronald Phillips of Mt. Pleasant; his granddaughters, McKayla Kennedy, Hope Kennedy and Odessa Abbott; and his sister Carol Abbott of Weidman. He is also survived by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
