He was predeceased by: his father William Joe Mathews Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Bambi Grove-Simpson; his children, William Paul Mathews III and Destiny Oliver-Shepperson; and his siblings, Michael Mathews, Heather VanWert and Jonathon Simpson.
