William Jay Thayer Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Thayer and Zana Thayer (Hendrie) of St. Louis; and his brothers, Don Thayer of Midland and Jim Thayer of Breckenridge. He is survived by: his wife Ann Thayer; his children, Chris Thayer (Rachel) and Rachel Rollin (Ryan); his grandchildren, Rhiannon Thode (Luke), Kirrah Thayer, Reese Thayer, Landon Rollin and Alice Rollin; his great grandchildren, Mila and Malachi Thayer; his brother Dennis Thayer (Carole); and his sisters-in-law, Betty Thayer, Jeanette Thayer and Susan Tek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clark Family Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service (114 S Bradley St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (124 North Chapel Drive Mount, Pleasant, MI 48858).
