He was predeceased by: his father Richard Allen Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Susan Kay Bylsma Dennis (Hodges); his wife Kim VanGessel of Portland; his children, Brennon, Samuel, Shane, Angel, Lilly and Tasha; his siblings, Richard VanGessel Jr. of Haslett, Michael VanGessel (Jennifer Collins), Ann Pennington (Allen), Sarah Bylsma of Ionia and Chris VanGessel (Mary VanGessel); his stepmother Denise VanGessel of Newaygo; and his stepbrothers, Ben Herbert of Texas and Paul Herbert (Jessica) of Newaygo.
A luncheon will follow the service at the Log Cabin Inn Banquet Center, 6484 E Bluewater Hwy, Muir, MI 48860Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Dennis's family.
