He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Ratu and Anna Ratu (Vasiu); his wife Mary Anne of Mary's Catholic Church; his son Pete; his grandson Caleb; and his sister Mary Allen.
He is survived by: his son John (Ann); his daughter-in-law Leisa; his grandsons, Jordan (Laura), Jonah (Autumn) and Lucas; and his great grandchildren, Hudson and Harlow.
