Blair D. Byrne, age 71, of Munger, Michigan, passed away on August 8, 2026, after a life marked by hard work, devotion to family, and a warm sense of humor that touched everyone who knew him.
Blair was born on April 10, 1955, in Bay City, Michigan, and he carried the values of his upbringing with him throughout his life. He was a man who believed in doing things the right way, and he was known by those close to him as handy, funny, and kind. Blair found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, cooking, and playing cards with friends. These interests were more than hobbies to him, as they were part of the way he connected with others and enjoyed each day. He especially valued time spent with family and friends, and he will be remembered for the stories he told, the meals he prepared, and the good company he kept.
He is survived by his wife, Stephanie (DeLorge) Kelly-Byrne; his children, David Byrne and his wife Christa, Lindsay Blanton and her husband Ed, Angela Chamberlain and Garrett Chamberlain, and Kara Kelly; and eleven grandchildren who brought him great pride and joy.
