He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ebel; his children, James VanDenBoom, Gail Lynch (Dale), Peggy Schabel (Tom) and Tim VanDenBoom (Renae); his grandchildren, Kayla Kochom, Katrina VanDenBoom, Serena Darling (Cody), Derek Lynch (Devon), Cody O'Leary, Adam O'Leary (Jessica), Zachery Schabel (Amanda Bird), Travis VanDenBoom (Kelly Carey) and Gina Bauschatz (Craig); his great grandchildren, Brantley, Isla, Macy, Brynn, Kendyl, Owen, Kallie, Olivia, Millie Sue, Lilah, Hudson, Veda, Jameson, Nathan, Ben and Maevyn; and his brother-in-law William Rouech.
