It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice A. Johnson of Munising, Michigan, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Bernice may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hardin and Dorothy Hardin (Wartick); her brother Verlyn Hardin; and her brother-in-law Bob Jahnke. She is survived by: her husband Carl Johnson of Munising; her son Wayne; her daughter-in-law Laura Johnson of Munising; her granddaughters, Natalie Malinowski (Mark) and Morgan Miller (Ryan); her great grandchild Martin Malinowski of Munising; and her siblings, Beverly Jahnke of Wausaukee, WI and Albert Hardin (Bev) of Negaunee, MI.
