It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Eleanor Ann Brisson (Munising, Michigan), who passed away at the age of 89, on July 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matt Mannisto and Martha Mannisto (Jokinen) of Chatham; her husband William L. Brisson, Sr. of Limestone; her daughter Barbie; and her siblings, Irene and Wilfred.
She is survived by: her children, William, Jr. (Katy) of Limestone, Steven (Lisa) of Mackinac Island and Joelle Olsen (Ross) of Sands Township; her brother Charles Mannisto (Virgina) of Chatham; and her grandchildren, J. J., Andrea, Joey, Sarah, Rachael, Jesse, Little Ross, Ellie, Emma, Abby, Jordan, Matthew and Andrew. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sion Lutheran Church (N5177 Rock River Street, Chatham, MI 49816).
Memorial gifts may be made to Sion Lutheran Church or the Superior Central School Playground Fund.
