He is survived by: his wife Sue Schertz of Christmas; his children, Gary Lee Schertz, Jr. (Alyssa) of Richmond, VA, Jennifer VanLandschoot (Beau) of Harvey and Kristine Anderson (Brock) of Munising; his grandchildren, Abigail, Garrett (Mary), Anna, Alexandra, Logan (Billy), Lexi (Hunter), Jazel (DeDe), Mia and Sage; his great grandchildren, Ruby June and Rowyn Jo Leah; his brother Randy Schertz; his uncle Bino Schert (Kathy); and his siblings-in-law, Becky, Jim Scheirschmidt and Jean Cox II. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
