He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Towne and Margarite Towne (Schick); his daughter-in-law Trish Towne; and his siblings, Jim Towne (Karen) and Sandy Towne.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen Cooper (Taylor); his pets, Cassie and Biscuit; his wife Kathy Towne of Munising; his children, Leon Towne of Lincoln Park, MI and Kristen VanWieren (Brian) of Munising; his grandchildren, Haley, Leon, Jr., Devon and Ashley; and his brother Randy Towne (Marge). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
