She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Kenneth Chaltry; and her brother Raymond Hinz (Connie). She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Chaltry (Frances) of Cooks, MI, William Chaltry (Jodi) of Arizona City, AZ, Richard Chaltry (Elaine) of Beavercreek, OH, Ann Peterson (Randy) of Thompson, MI, Gerard Chaltry (Kim) of Port Huron, MI and Julie Fisher (Gary) of Howell, MI; her grandchildren, Amanda, Rachel, Alex, Andrew, Sarah, Jennifer, Cory, Kelsey of Ryan, DJ, Bradley, Rebecca, Elliot, Lindsay and Austin; and her great grandchildren, Zane, Darin, Sydney, Zachary, Allie, Lauryn and Jack. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Bowerman Funeral Home (302 E Superior St, Munising, MI 49862). A Mass will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (110 W Jewell St, Munising, MI 49862).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Margaret's name are requested to be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital which was a charity she was passionate about.
