He was predeceased by : his wife Joyce Marie Posio; and his siblings, Lois Hancock, Pauline Lauret, John Hendrickson, David Hendrickson, Grace Allera and Philip.

He is survived by : his children, Evangeline "Eve" Rusk (Terry), Christine Nace (Dave), Sara Rye (John) and Samuel Hendrickson (Jill); and his grandchildren, Ted Rusk, Philip Nace, Keith Rusk and Christi Ann Baehr. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
