It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Jean LaFond of Munising, Michigan, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on February 21, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Steve Roman and Lucy Roman (Wodarski). She is survived by : her children, Dawn Mattson of Munising and Harold David LaFond, Jr. of Cincinnati, OH; her grandchildren, Kristen Long (David) of Munising, Morgan Williams (Levi) of Kentwood, MI, Nicholas Sontag of Munising, Lori Mattson of Munising, Jacob Mattson of Munising, Kate Mattson of Munising and Trey Mattson of Munising; her great grandchildren, Camden, Casen, Cohen, Colton, Cullen Long, Roman and Vincent Williams; and also Brooke.

Memorials in Nancy's memory are requested to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
