She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Oas and Lila Oas; her brothers, Robert Oas, Jim Oas Richard Oas and William Oas; and her grandson Travis Olson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; her sons, William Nelson (Sara) of Lansing, John Nelson (Mari) of Wyandotte, Kenneth Nelson (Lynn) of Oconomowoc, WI and Thomas Nelson (Lisa) of Munising; and her grandchildren, Karla Nelson (Spencer Holt) of Tampa, FL, Eric Nelson (Gina DeMaggio) of Royal Oak, Jennifer Nelson of Wyandotte, Robert Nelson (Kelsey Carpenter) of Wyandotte, Sandra Lemerand, Kenneth Nelson (Rut Jimenez) of Waukesha, WI, Nancy Nelson (Justin Pyatt) of Menomonee Falls, WI, Jamie Nelson (Jonathan Fargo) of Mad River, CA and Chantelle Nelson of Munising. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
