He was predeceased by: his parents, Walfred Latvala and Esther Latvala (Orava); his stepmother Ruth Latvala (Stephens); his siblings, Alice Arlene Clemons (Latvala), Robert and Kevin Latvala; and his brothers-in-law, Gordon, James Campbell (Judith), David Campbell, Donald Campbell (Teresa) and Timothy Campbell (Bernadine).
He is survived by: his son Dean Michael Latvala (Judith); his grandchildren, Dan Rose of Republic and Kelly Olson (Kyle) of Maple Grove, MN; his great grandchildren, Avyn Olson of Maple Grove, MN, Braden Rose of Marquette and Rylan Rose of Marquette; his siblings, Ken Latvala (Darlene) of Escanaba, David Latvala of Tucson, AZ, Kathy Barrow (Jim) of Escanaba and Brian Latvala (Mary Jo) of Menominee; and his sisters-in-law, Candace Hertzler (Robert) of Morgantown, PA, Joan Campbell of Manitowoc, WI and Lynn Gariepy (James) of Munising, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
