We announce the death of Raymond Walter Niles Jr. of Munith, Michigan, born in Saline, Michigan, who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 93. Raymond will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Walter and Ruth Rosinia Niles, Sr. (Lindenschmidt); his former wife Lois Niles (Raub); his wife Arlene Riba; his son Eric; and his siblings, Donald and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Sundra Heim (Marvin) of Chelsea, Raymond Niles III of Oregon and Daniel Niles (Viv) of Munith; his sister Zoa Oliver of Missouri; and his grandchildren, Kelli Wilson (Greg), Jill Murphy (Jeff), Henry Heim (Becky), Irisha Niles, Johnathan Moffett, Michele Hinche and Christopher Saunders. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
