She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Parham and Mervin Griffin; her husband Harvey Sims Jr.; her daughters, Anna Faye Sims and Evette Sims; her sister Annie Faye Tyner; her aunt Stella Sharp of Magnolia, Arkansas; and her grandchildren, Ernest Sims and Shawntina Sims.
She is survived by: her children, Minnie Nolen (Willie) of Muskegon, Michigan, Teresa Sims of Muskegon, Michigan, Harvey Sims III of Muskegon, Michigan, Margarthea McGough (Tyrone) of Muskegon, Michigan and Andrew Sims (Kimberley) of Muskegon Heights, Michigan; her adoptive daughter Judy Jordan of Muskegon, Michigan.; and her sister Minnie Aubrey (Henry) of Magnolia, Arkansas. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; more than 50 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
