He is survived by: his son Clifton "CJ" L Newell, Jr.; his siblings, Mary, Brenda, Leon and Willie (Lori); his nieces and nephews, Lisa, Stephanie, Eric and Zachary; his former wife Diane Newell; his stepchildren, Alicia, Daryl Davis and Co-Workers; and his friends, John German, Ben Roberts, Miss'y Cole, Janie and Sheryl. He is also survived by many cousins, great nieces and nephews.
