Clinton George Shaffer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clinton George Shaffer of Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Shaffer and Lida Shaffer (Knapp); his son Keith Shaffer; and his siblings, Maurice Shaffer, Darrel Shaffer, Lester Shaffer, Leora Gray, Mildred Backa, Eva Jordan and Lois Bush.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Shaffer; and his children, Alan Shaffer, Jeanette VanDyken, James Shaffer (Susan) and George Shaffer (Joe Austin). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Wesleyan Church.
