He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Pummel and Viola Pummel (Johnson); his wife Shirley A. Pummel; his siblings, Harvey Pummel and Geraldine Bowen; his parents-in-law, Ernest and Mary Mason; and his sisters-in-law, Frances Pitre and Donna Mason.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rhonda Sternberg (Robert) and Shannon Kolka (Rusty); his grandchildren, Robert Sternberg, Damian Sternberg, Lawrence Berg II, Logan Berg, Kayla Jones, Kaylie Kolka (Pat) and Brenden Kolka; his great grandchildren, Robert Sternberg Jr., Brody Miles, Alaina Sternberg, Marley Fles, Xaundra Rosales, Tammy Hills and Austin Kolka; his siblings, Jerome Pummel and Barb Nader (Ralph); his siblings-in-law, Bill Bowen and Sandra Pummel; and his pet Lilly. He is also survived by grandchildren and bonus great-grandchildren.
