He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Knowles and Flora Knowles (Meyers); his son Christopher; and his siblings, Ken, Sally, Alowyn, Linda and Karen.
He is survived by: his wife Lynn Burns; his children, Andrea Lack (Ryan) and Josh Knowles (Sahrah Quinn); his grandsons, Gregory Lack, Benjamin Lack and Jace Quinn; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Lonsway (Carl), Barth Schutter, Gary Burns (Donna) and Craig Burns (Cindy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
