We announce the death of Deborah Jo Mys of Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on June 29, 2026, at the age of 71. Deborah will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Deborah will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Deborah’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Viola Mys and William Mathew Mys; her daughter Sarah Fish; and her brother Phillip Mys. She is survived by: her daughter Maria Maynard; her adoptive sons, Dean Fish, Aaron Fish and Jeffery Fish; and her siblings, Alan Mys, Sherrie Quist and Linda Ellens. She is also survived by many extended family members, former foster children, and dear friends.
