He is survived by: his wife Denise Thomspon (Bumstead); his children, Andrew Tufts (Tonya) of Muskegon and Michelle Alvarez (Chet Coleman) of Muskegon; his stepchildren, Terry Thompson of Montague, Aimee Thompson of Rothbury, Nick Brewer (Jenna) of Buffalo, NY and Cheryl Gillespie of Owosso; and his sister Cathi Vanderwell (Warren) of St. Augustine, FL. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
