In loving memory of Eleanor R. VanderMey of Muskegon, Michigan, who departed this world on April 24, 2024 at the age of 96. Eleanor leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Nicholas Buining and Bessie Buining (Morsink); her husband Harold W. VanderMey; her daughter Ruth Patton; and her siblings, Rev. Rodger Buining and Virginia Norton.

She is survived by : her children, Sydney, Christina Kearney (Pat), Paul VanderMey, Steve VanderMey (Ruth), Mary Hunt (Michael) and Tom VanderMey (Dawn); and her son-in-law John Patton (Wendy). She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Contributions in memory of Mrs. VanderMey may be made to Evanston Ave. Bapt Church in Muskegon or Trinity Baptist Church in Grand Rapids.
