He is survived by: his children, Tammy Kaffenberger, Lori Potter (Doug), Tim Unger, Michelle Anderson (Tim), Greg Unger (Carol), Maryann Twiest (Melvin) and Michael Unger (Steve); his grandchildren, Nichole Pomeroy (Shannon), Samantha Poston (Tyler), Hunter Anderson, Mike Kaffenberger Jr. (Erica), Patrick Unger (Jennifer), Heather Guenther (Rik Daniel), Theresa Wadland (Neil), John Perez (Cari) and Jamie Fortin-West (Lee); his great grandchildren, Sydney, Emerson Pomeroy, Aaliyah Welch, Donavan, Nova Unger, Penelope, Charlotte Genther, Autumn, Odalis Perez, Lily Stone (Matthew), Logan, Gage Wadland, Katlyn Kaffenberger, Meagan Kahler (Ben) of Leyland DeCheney, P.
