He was predeceased by: his parents, George Monroe and Thelma Monroe (Gilbert); his daughter Pamela Lynn Morey; his siblings, Merlin, Bill, Charles (Darlene), Ralph, Richard Monroe and Pearl McKellar; and his sister-in-law Sharon Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ilene Brink of Muskegon; his son Timothy Allen Monroe (Rebecca) of Muskegon; his granddaughters, Amanda Morey, Carol Ann Hanes (Ian) and Deanna Monroe; his great grandchildren, Krista, Autumn and Valerie Hanes; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Monroe of Oregon, Josette Monroe of Idaho, Annelise Monroe of Muskegon, Kathy "Pat" Monroe of Kent City, Richard McKellar of Muskegon, Roger Brink (Barbara) of Muskegon and David Stevens of Muskegon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
