Greta Teresa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Greta Teresa of Muskegon, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Greta farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Greta is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Paul Schreur; her son Kevin; and her parents, Gerrit and Grace of Jong.
In lieu of flowers, we entreat you to make a donation to the Friends of Muskegon Heights Library, where Greta was a dedicated volunteer. Donations can be made to CCD, P.O. Box 4618, Muskegon Heights, MI 49444 with a note for the Friends of the Muskegon Heights Library, in memory of Greta de Jong.
