He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Poole and Laura Mae Poole (Allen); his siblings, Gussie Mae Martin, John Willis Allen (JW) and Hershal Allen; his son Hollis "Bill" Crosby; his grandchildren, Terrance Allen, Charles Johnson, Skyler and Sha'Rena Moore; his great grandchildren, Malik Johnson of Killeen, TX and Dauntonia Allen of Temple, TX; and his goddaughter Helen Elly.
He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Johnson of Milwaukee, WI; and his godchildren, Reverend Barry Pierce (Bridgette), Reverend Eugene Miles (Clemi), Crystal Lang (Kenneth), Denise Parks (Steven), Linda Clark, Lori Williams and Kim Reed.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (2745 Huizenga St, Norton Shores, MI 49444). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
