We announce the death of Jack Neal Rasey of Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on September 27, 2026, at the age of 86. Jack will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack G. Rasey and Katherine Rasey (Bowmaster); his former wife Charlene A. Jaeger; his son Jack D. Rasey; his grandsons, Joseph Rasey and Zach Rasey; and his siblings, Bobby Peterson and Darleen Schalk.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his daughter Corrine "Cori" Lifer; his children-in-law, Kari Rasey and Jeff Lifer; his children, Cheryl Latsch (Chris) and David Elliott (Liz); his grandchildren, Kyle Lifer, Michelle Lifer (Blake Hepworth), Ryan Lifer, Chris Latsch Jr., Cory Latsch (Amber), Chelby Paul (Cameron), Dominic Elliott, Eli Elliott and Adrian Elliott; and his brother Jimmy Peterson (Kathi). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444).
