He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Henry, Estelle Lenius (Jankowski), Joan DePouw, Jerry, Joe, John, Joyce Whitehurst, Suzanne Lavin (Dan), Brian Lenius (Lori) and Beth Stuchly (Chris); his nephews, Nick and Dave Whitehurst; his grandchildren, Erika Lavin, Samuel Lavin, Amanda Versluis (John), Shannon Stuchly and Rachel Jung (Alex); his brother John; and his son-in-law Dan Lavin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services (6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (1716 6th St, Muskegon, MI 49441). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church Building Fund.
