He is survived by: his wife Ronda "Red" Mitchell; his children, Melissa Palmer (Chuck), Jon Robert Mitchell and Anthony James Mitchell; his siblings, Jill Szalonek (Don), Janie Locke (Bud) and Jody Mitchell (Laura); and his sons, James Botko and Joshua Wiggins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, November 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Park Meadows Trail Park Community Building (210 W Giles Rd, Muskegon, MI 49445).
