We are sad to announce that, on May 18, 2026, at the age of 93, Katharina Johnson (Muskegon, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Johnson; her parents, Josef Proebst and Katharina Proebst; her siblings, Christini, Lisa, Rosie, Theresa, Josef and Franz; and her son-in-law Bill Hood.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Hood, John Johnson (Sue), Jane Helsen (Tony), Mark Johnson (Kathy) and Jim Johnson; and her sister-in-law Ruth Gravengood (Roger). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
