He is survived by: his son Kyle Short; his grandson Maxwell Short; his father Virgil Short; his sisters, Mindy Wierengo (Chris) and Megan Eacker (Don); his nieces and nephews, Matthew Eacker, Michael Eacker, Cearra McKinnon and Devon Keck; and his stepsiblings, Tricia Murphy and Eric Johnson.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clock Funeral Home (1469 Peck St, Muskegon, MI 49441).
